If you are practising for the first time, please wear loose fitting athletic clothing and bring a water bottle.

Every new member must pay an initial joining fee which also includes one year of full insurance and membership, our membership fee is £25 per member per annum, this fee is payable every 12 months.

Warrior Fitness

You can join our Warrior Fitness classes, which are explained below, we currently run mixed classes for men and women, our classes are for adults only, all our instructors are happy to teach individuals of all levels of fitness, we will help you achieve your personal goals for fitness, weight loss or simply to improve your general health and wellness. We also offer individual detailed nutrition plans to suit your activity levels/lifestyle and body transformation plans.

Our Men and Women’s Warrior Fitness Classes on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9.15am which is a 45 minute bodyweight only workout called Bodyweight Bootcamp. We also have have a Tuesday evening class at 9.15pm and Saturday afternoon at 3.15pm, this session will include weights, kettlebells and further usage of specialist exercise equipment.

You will be coached by one of our expert Coaches, Sunil Rai or Chris Parmar, who are both Level 3 Personal Trainers and experienced martial artists, Sunil Rai is also the head coach of Muay Thai and MMA at our gym. Our Warrior Fitness classes are superb for conditioning and strength, so you will improve your cardio and endurance fitness, we also include martial arts movements from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial, these movements complement a wide range of core exercises, explosive strength exercises, plyometrics, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and functional fitness concepts drawn from CrossFit, Powerlifting, Olynpic Weightlifting, Gymnastics, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Judo, Karate and Mixed Martial Arts. Sunil has a unique and friendly coaching style and is passionate about athlete performance and offering fighters specialist strength and conditioning programs to complement the training programs of elite mixed martial artists and professional fighters. Sunil has over 18 years of experience in personal training and is a Level 3 Personal Trainer, Certified Kettlebells Coach, Level 1 CrossFit coach, BJJ Blue Belt, Karate Black Belt and Muay Thai Kru (certified teacher).

Warrior Fitness includes constantly varied exercise programming to prevent you from plateauing, strength and recovery cycles and we include “scaled” versions of exercises so that people of all levels of fitness can enjoy our workouts.

SO WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

If you wish to participate in Warrior Fitness fitness classes or learn more about Maidenhead Martial Arts, please contact us beforehand by email mmamaidenhead@gmail.com, please note if you just turn-up for a class we may not be able to process your paperwork and insurance in time, so it is best to contact us first. All classes will start promptly at the prescribed time.
The class consists of a warm up, HIIT or LISS, functional fitness movements, Olympic weightlifting techniques, plyometrics, gymnastics and “animal drills” from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, these drills specifically improve mobility, flexibility and agility. Please bring a water bottle and your training apparel!

Please be aware after your first free trial class, entry into our Warrior Fitness classes can only be granted after completing a direct debit form, a contract and payment of the standard joining fee. Please note if you are on direct debit, after you have completed a full calendar month of training you can cancel with 7 days notice at any time.

 

Personal Training, Nutrition and Intermittent Fasting

If you want individualised personal 1-to-1 coaching in martial arts we can arrange this, there is no better way than to take a personal training session. If it is specialised technique training or a tailored fighter development program you are looking for, then our experienced coaches will be happy to help you. We can also write you a customised athlete nutrition plan customised to your dietary preferences and activity levels (Prices from £120), we also offer Intermittent Fasting Plans for a 3 or 6 months to help you with weight loss, getting “shredded” or as part of a “fightcamp” to achieve a target weight on the day of “weigh-in” for your competition.
